For most of our lives, being “too tall” was something people whispered about us before they ever bothered to see us. Too tall for the room… too tall to fit the mold. But as we grew into ourselves, literally and figuratively, we realized something powerful: What they called “too tall” was actually our advantage.
Our height gave us visibility. Our visibility gave us voice. And our voice gave us vision. So we built a company around the very thing that once made us shrink.
Too Tall Events is co-founded by Ma’Kenzie Brooks and Alberlynne “Abby” Woods, two women who stand over six feet tall, and now stand in their purpose. We turned teasing into tenacity. Awkwardness into authority. Unwanted attention into unforgettable experiences. Today, “Too Tall” is no longer a label. It’s a leadership stance. A creative posture. A reminder to take up space, boldly, beautifully, unapologetically.
